Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2, 2026

Overview

Umami Analytics for iOS is a native iOS client for the Umami Analytics platform. We take your privacy seriously. This app does not collect, track, or share any personal data with third parties.

Unlike many apps, we do not include any analytics SDKs, crash reporting services, or advertising frameworks. Your data stays on your device and the Umami instance you connect to.

Data We Collect

We collect no personal data. Specifically:

Data Stored on Your Device

The following data is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to us:

Network Requests

All network requests go directly from your device to the Umami instance you configure (either your self-hosted server or Umami Cloud). We do not operate any intermediary servers, proxy your traffic, or inspect your API requests.

In-App Purchases

Premium feature unlocks are processed entirely through Apple's StoreKit 2 framework. We do not receive or store your payment information. Apple handles all transaction processing and receipt validation. The only data we store locally is a boolean indicating whether your purchase has been unlocked.

Third-Party Services

This app does not integrate any third-party SDKs, analytics libraries, or advertising frameworks. The only external network connections are to your configured Umami instance(s) and, for premium features, Apple's App Store receipt verification servers.

Data Deletion

Deleting the app from your device removes all locally stored data, including cached analytics, preferences, and Keychain-stored credentials. Data stored on your Umami instance is unaffected and can be managed through your Umami account directly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
